A podcast where we typically review a wine list from your favorite restaurants. Today we have a special guest with us to talk about holiday wine shopping and the world of wine.

I’m your host Robert Tas along with our special guest and my friend Daniel Posner owner of Grape the Wine Co. Welcome to the CorkRules podcast?

DP: Hello Robert, great to be here.  

RT: So, let me start by introducing Daniel. He has been in the wine world for over 22 years, he is one of the most influential wine retailers in the United States. He is the owner of the Grape The wine co in white plains NY and is the former president of the National Association of Wine Retailers. He has contributed to major publications like Wine Spectator to WSJ. He tastes 10K wine annually. I’m trying to catch up. And travels frequently to meet producers, winemakers. 

So, Daniel welcome to the CorkRules podcast.

So, Daniel, given your seat in the wine world, I’d love to start and get a report on how the retail wine world is doing post covid.

RT: During Covid, I saw a lot of wine clubs pop up, what’s your take?

DP:
